Full black, dual glass, 30-year output warranty.
Our standard panel today is the Trina Vertex S+ 455 Wp. Trina Solar gives it a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year output warranty. After 30 years, the panel still delivers at least 87.4% of its original output.
Very good, without the premium price
Alongside the SunPower, we install a second panel: technically strong, at a sharper price. Which brand that is, we choose on what gives the best balance of quality, yield and price at the time. That is why this page is called "standard panel" and not after a brand. If our choice changes, this page always tells you which panel you get from us today.
Why glass on both sides?
Most panels have glass on the front and a plastic film on the back. That film can discolour over the years and let moisture through. A dual-glass panel has glass on both sides, which makes it sturdier against moisture and weather.

The other choice
The most extensive warranty? Then we look at the SunPower
The standard panel suits most roofs. If you want the broadest warranty, or every centimetre of roof has to produce, the SunPower P7 comes into view.

We measure up, look at orientation and shading, and work out what it yields for you.
